*i am the first (o”)o o(”o) i am the first (o”)o o(”o) * LOL

Helloo guys … 7ada nice el topic .. o eb waktaa 3ogoob ma 6ala3na men khaligi 18 … * :/ *
el reya’6a bel kuwait sa7 kel mangol reya’6a * as in y3ne general* dayman ekon 3ala korat el qadam … laish maybe i think cuz its the more common sport .. or its easy y3ne el rules o chethe ma3rofa by all cuz y3ne kathraat el cups o el b6olat o chethe fa its famous .

and i tottaaaalyy agree with you guys .. montakhab lekuwait fe el yad wayd wayed qawee and they all are great players o mashalah 3alaihom all the best enshalah lohom .

why sport level is very low in kuwait , well , awal shay bara leq8 el la3eb ekon yadres football .. yadres-ha derasa o nafseta merta7a .. emwafren lah ele ye7taga so he wont be like forced to play a game for nothing .even physicily they look athletic , ehne bel kuwait etha fazaw 3a6ohom mokafa2a o etha ekhsaraw shabaw 3alaihom , but el la3eb shino em7a9el ehne bel kuwait ? etha kan 6aleb *student* fa el jam3a/school wont help him if he had to go for a game . and by help i mean .. giving him a rest for the day of the game or after comming of the game having him like take the notes or even do an exam later … bonus ?! .. *bonus is a crime in Kuniv*

schools must be more serious fe salfat el clubs o elb6olat ele et9er 3ala el man6eqa el deraseya . for me knt fareq yaad bel thanaweya .. bas 6ala3t mena weseba kel ma re7na la3abna ana alga nafsy 3end el teachers ena im lazy o may3theron etha ana qebt 3an leclass wela shay .. y3ne mako help so i gave up cuz you know el derasa o el GPA aham eb na’6ar el kel * family & ppl around me * and i didnt really get anything from playing … except the fun of it of course .. bs tashgee3 .. to be honest .. NO .

and i liked your ideas about developing players
.. really meaningfull ..
alah yesma3 menkom ..
all the best …
and keep it up ;D

2. Deera Chat Family - January 25, 2007

Thanks Bedoor for your comment … actually it seems like you totally agree with us on all of our points … so i don’t need to write anything heheheehhe …

it is soooo true that teachers have this impression that any student who joins il sports teams are lazy and they are joining sports to skip classes … sometimes it is true and sometime it is not …
the education system in the west really helps people achieve their dreams … which we will talk about in anohter episode … wether these dreams are sports or something else … and you can see the results … your teams reach a RESULT unlike our team is being kicked out so soon that they didn’t have their clothes out of their bags yet !!! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

3. Bedoor - January 25, 2007

lool ..
yeaaaah you’re right … mamedaahom eshemon hawa ela RADAw ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
bas to be honest i felt sad cuz they did play hard .. and the last goal for the uae team came at the last min .. if i was el golchy i’d die of guilt walah .. 7emdelah im not in his place .. 9ig 9ig 9ig masken :/

but again .. yeah teachers are not helpfulll .. the timing of the cups in schools are not well organized .. as if the student doesnt have anything but the game…so the times of exams and such are a tottal mess for the student ..

and i have my nephew out in swiss … tadre shino they take as like sport class ? .. skiing . and they have it llike as in class of skiing .. where they go by a train AFTER SCHOOL TIME .. they go to someplace for practicing … and you sure will ask how old is he ? he’s 7 years old and that’s the age where they prepare boys to learn skiing in his school .. and after learing how to ski .. they tell them to join * the good skiiers * teams or like give them more practice and never let them stop if they are skilled …
its not about skiing wela snow wela shay .. its about how to have the time and the full time and the great learning of a sport as any other class …

e7na bel kuwait mako tan’6eem .. mako 6moo7 .. mako na’6ra mostaqbaleya lelfard ele in a young age .. and for that .. el ahal etgola weldick tabeh 6abeb wela la3eb bo6olat o emathel lekuwait ? …its so obvious y3ne el reya’6a as a team o chethe mako laha mostaqbal … laken shof barra … etha sheft la3eb wela shay .. et7es 9iggggg la3eb o famous o fanan o you really enjoy watching the game etshof el 7arfanaa fe el le3eb .. creativity …
ehne a7es 1+1=2 .. its like rules la o ebawshoon sa3aat

7ady shta6aait :@

well thanks again ;D cant wait till next week :’/
keep up the good work

7. Deera Chat Family - January 26, 2007

it is all right, our female listeners can share with us their sports dreams in Kuwait … it doesn’t have to be soccer of anything … may be yoga, walking, golfing, or even playing tennis. How would like to see these games in Kuwait and why aint they recognized in our society.

11. bored - January 27, 2007

well i think its gonna need a little bit more then positive thinking, this problem has its roots set very deeply and it’s more political and has to do with “family ties”

12. Deera Chat Family - January 27, 2007

– xxdeemxx : thanks, we are happy that we have a deera chat fan from across the border. Walla il saudi team deserves it because our team is not GADHA, which is sad.

– Bedoor: we in this episode are trying to find a solution to the problem by training kids from high school and make them an investment

– Elaine.ess: it is all about finding a solution to the problem, and what we were talking about is just a tiny peice of what the sports management in Kuwait can do to achieve better results in the future.

– Bored: family ties is every where man and let me tell that you are sooo right … but what can you do about it?!?!?!
lets all join the walk today at 3:30 pm

13. LuLu - January 27, 2007

17. MishMisha - January 27, 2007

lol i loved how you tried to say that we suck at sports in a nice way..

i think the reason why we’re becoming weak in the football field is not only because there’s no support system for the players, but also maybe because the players ma ga3ad yabthiloon majhood. there’s no motivation whatsoever.

anyway that’s what i think..

18. xxdeemxx - January 27, 2007

Hi There. Dropping to say HELLO to you all.
Interesting Blog, bit complicated for middle class mild mannered mum!

25. Laialy_q8 - January 31, 2007

Great idea, not original :p, but nonetheless it’s a great idea. here is what i propose if you can find one dedicated gentleman who is really passionate about this topic and actually take it somewhere. This could be as simple as having the right person hear the idea or it could a bit more cumbersome where someone might have to do some planning of how much money and how long such a program would take. Talking about the issue and making people aware is a good thing but whats even better is actually doing something … ๐Ÿ™‚

26. Q80-ChillGirl - January 31, 2007

Hiiiiiiii there

I know am a week late with this comment sorry! but I had a rough week, hoping to have a more relaxed weekend.

I’m not into Kuwaiti sports (in other words soccer ;p since its the 1st thing that pops into mind here in q8) as you said its a culture thing just like America football in the US although they do have other amazing important leagues like the NBA… I do agree that neglecting other sports in Kuwait is wrong & very biiiiiiiiiig like ูƒุฑุฉ ุงู„ูŠุฏุŸ ู…ุซู„ู…ุง ู‚ู„ุชูˆุง

As for the high school league idea! i likeeeeeeeed it big time I think its a great solution that I wish it would come true one day ๐Ÿ˜€

nice episode great work, keep it up ๐Ÿ˜€

27. Ali - January 31, 2007

– Laialy q8: actually you are right it is not an original idea … thats what they do in the states for their players draft …. but think about it as a solution … can it be implemented and as you said the right person have to listen to what we said and try it and give it some thought … if you the guy … send him our URL and our new flash player would be more than happy to serve his needs ๐Ÿ˜‰

– q8 chill girl: actually thanks … GO GO GO High schoolers … it is all about the young talents and knowing how to develop them … glad that you liked the episode
